This is a perfect application of the very first teaching of Likutei Halachos that Rabbi Nosson, the main Talmid of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, wrote as a Chasidic commentary on the Shulchan Aruch. This first teaching is all about a Jew finding his Nekuda Tova, some good point in himself, regardless of what faults he may have, in order that he will feel encouraged that he has a purpose in this world, and worth enough to want to serve Hashem. It's interesting to note that the Gematria of the word Chesed is 72, the last two digits of this Hebrew year 5772. And being that we are very close to Pesach, it is this holiday that is kabbalistically related especially to Avraham Ovinu, who was the icon of Chesed. Also, the Kabbalistic Sephira of the first day of Sephiras Haomer is Chesed She'B'Chesed, which is always the 2nd day of Pesach.
