Lev Nishbar

Brand new song, composed today.
זבחי אלקים רוח נשברה לב נשבר ונדכה אלקים לא תבזה
הרופא לשבורי לב ומחבש לעצבותם
A broken spirit is an offering to Hashem, Hashem does not embarrass a broken and hurting heart.
He mends the broken hearted, and cures their sadness.

Beautiful song, but i hope you're feeling okay, not broken hearted on Adar, Marbim B'Simcha! Maybe like it says in Tanya, Breaking of heart over sins that leads to Simcha! Keep up the good work, when's the CD coming out> make sure "i'm not perfect" is on it!

There are many who are so broken-hearted, or scared, or confused, bitter, who do not even admit to themselves that they are.
May the soul of this song penetrate to their hearts, from heart to heart, and may Hashem soon wipe away all the tears of all, especially those who have chosen to keep them hidden, those who are most broken-hearted.
May the light of G-d penetrate even the darkest places, soon. Moshiach! Isn't that what will happen when moshiach comes, and the beis hamikdash is built?

Ari - you are so blessed to receive this inspiration and we are blessed to have Hashem speak to us in this way. This song and 'Finally Here'.....how do we get a copy to download? Thank Hashem for the internet - I'm sitting here in Chicago, I would never have had the opportunity to hear these songs or read your shiurim. Thank you!

To Netzar: the words are from Tehillim. Perek 51.. Actually my favorite perek! There are many positive affirmations and pleas in this perek. I love it because it encompasses all one's emotions.. From the darkest and painful ones... To the ones where we ask and beg Hashem to restore us to joy, happiness and a sense of inner peace n tranquility. We all suffer thru dark and hard times. This song that Ari has composed reaches our hearts at those times. Hashem understands how badly we feel, especially when we have sinned and truly regret it. Hashem's reply is, that when it's a genuine broken heart , Hashem will forgive and not cause us embarrassment. Which just adds more pain and suffering. So, Trust Hashem. Don't sin. BUT, if you do, feel remorse, ask for forgiveness and feel your heart breaking over Yr mistake. And then Hashem promises, to save you from public embarrassment! Hope this helps. After the darkness, comes light and joy and peace! It's Adar.. Think happy thoughts!! Amen!

Hi, I just realized tht the song includes an earlier pasuk. There we find a reminer that it is Hashem, the Best Healer ,that we asked to heal our physical and emotional pain. Whether it's depression, anxiety, fear , guilt or all the above, the perek tht Dovid Hamelech, who experienced ALL these emotions... Hashem is the Ultimate Healer!! And he has the power to uplift those tht hve fallen. Remember tht in Yr darkness. Hashem appreciate remorse n broken hearts AND only after, can the healing begin!! Hatzlacha !!
